Future Student Scholarship Application

1. Privacy

   The University of Wollongong (UOW) is committed to protecting your privacy. UOW (including its controlled entities) will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the collection, use, disclosure and handling of personal or health information provided by you complies with the Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998 (NSW) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW) which are incorporated into UOW's Privacy Policy, which may be viewed at www.uow.edu.au/about/privacy or by calling 1300 367 869 (within Australia).

2. Disclosure

   The information you provide in this application may be used by UOW (including its controlled entities) for the purpose of assessing this scholarship application and your suitability for the award of either a graduate or undergraduate scholarship or any other reasonably related purpose.

3. Consent

   • You understand that UOW may need to verify the information you have supplied and may exchange data with other institutions for this purpose.
   • You further understand that UOW deals with regulatory bodies and also includes a number of separate entities, any of which may be granted all or part of this information in processing this application.

4. Centrelink Consent

   Information regarding Centrelink Customer consent is available at www.uow.edu.au/study/scholarships/domestic/about. You will be given an opportunity to provide your consent for the University of Wollongong to electronically access your Centrelink record as part of your on-line application. If you do not give your consent for the University to electronically access your Cenrelink record you will be required to submit a Centrelink letter/statement to verify your benefit/s.

5. Representations and Warranties

   • You represent and warrant that all information provided by you is truthful, accurate and complete including (but without limitation to) your name, address and telephone number.
   • You warrant that you have provided all relevant supporting documentation for your application as detailed in the checklist included in the relevant scholarship application.

I accept - By clicking 'I accept', you declare that you have read and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

I do not accept - By clicking 'I do not accept', you declare that you do not agree to being bound by the Terms and Conditions and will not be able to continue with your scholarship application. By clicking 'I do not accept' you will automatically be exited out of the application process.
