The South32 David Crawford Scholarship has been designed to provide financial support for a talented 3rd year mining, electrical or mechanical engineering student to complement their academic training. The successful recipient will also have the opportunity to undertake paid vacation work with South32 over the 2024/25 summer period. Students with an existing employment relationship with South32 are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application Criteria
Applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student as the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled in the 3rd year of a Bachelor of Engineering Majoring in Mining, Electrical or Mechanical
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
Applicants must maintain a weighted average mark of 65+
Students with an existing employment relationship with South 32 are not eligible for this scholarship
