2024 Clarence Valley Orchestra Medical Student Scholarship
Community
Are you entering into Phase 3 or Phase 4 of the Doctor of Medicine, seeking to undertake your Integrated Placements or Elective and Selective Terms in a regional area?
The Clarence Valley Orchestra Medical Student Scholarship was established to support the future of rural and regional medical practice, offering $5,000 to the successful candidate who is planning to undertake their Phase 3 placement or Phase 4 Selective and Elective rotations in the Clarence Valley.
The aim is that students will get a significant experience in a rural or remote setting. It is known that such placements encourage students to return to practise in these communities and/or have a better understanding and appreciation of medicine in these areas.
Applicants are asked to complete a UOW scholarship application and a one page statement of how the scholarship will assist you in your career ambitions, and your commitment to the Clarence Valley region.
