2024 St John's Nowra Indigenous Student Scholarship
Community
Generously established by the Lorna Earl and William Woodberry Scholarship fund (administered by Workplace Giving Australia), this scholarship supports up to five (5) Indigenous students who completed their HSC at St John the Evangelist Catholic High School, Nowra in 2023.
Lorna Earl and William Woodberry sought to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to further their education and hope that this scholarship would contribute to the development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's education.
Applicants are asked to complete a UOW scholarship application package and a one-page statement that outlines how this scholarship will assist you in your career ambitions.

Application Criteria
Successful applicants must remain enrolled in an undergraduate degree at any onshore campus at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Successful applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
Applicants must have completed their HSC at St John the Evangelist Catholic High School, Nowra in 2023.
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50
