The Dylan Alcott Foundation is committed to providing equal educational opportunities for people living with disability. Dylan Alcott AO established the Foundation with a mission to help enrich the lives of young people with disability by eliminating the barriers of entry to get involved in sport and study through mentoring, grants and scholarships.
The UOW Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship, established in 2023, will support two (2) students, aged 26 years or younger, who are enrolled in any year of any undergraduate degree at UOW.
The Foundation will provide each student with up to $10,000 per year towards their tuition. In addition to this, UOW will partner with the Foundation to provide students with a $5,000 stipend in their first year.
Scholarship recipients will also have the chance to engage with the Foundation and other scholars through events and other engagement activities.

Application Criteria
Successful applicants must remain enrolled in an undergraduate degree at any onshore campus at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Applicants must be enrolled full-time or part-time at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Applicants must be aged 26 years old or younger at time of application.
Successful applicants must be living with a disability, either physical or non-physical as defined by the Disability Discrimination Act (1992), and be registered with UOW Student Accessibility & Inclusion.
Applicants must provide a one-page written statement or 3-5 minute video outlining; what impact your disability has on your life and education, why you chose your degree and your future goals and career aspirations, and what receiving this scholarship would mean to you.
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50
