Advanced Buildings and Restorations is a construction company based along the Eastern Seaboard of Australia with offices across NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC. With over 20 years in the industry, Advanced Buildings and Restorations are known for the reliability, efficiency and high standards of their restoration work.
The Advanced Buildings Opportunity Scholarship in OHS looks to support one student studying occupational health and safety with $16,500 to provide support while undertaking studies at the University of Wollongong. This scholarship is dedicated to assisting students studying occupational health and safety to achieve their higher education goals. This scholarship was established for the purpose of encouraging participation for disadvantage and/or underrepresented groups. Female students are strongly encouraged to apply.
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must also submit a UAC Equity application in addition to the UOW Scholarship application. UAC Equity applications will open from 2nd April 2025.

Application Criteria
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65
Applicants are required to demonstrate community involvement via submission of a written statement.
Applicants must demonstrate financial and/or educational challenges. Educational challenges and attributes include but are not limited to; low income family background, carer responsibilities; English language difficulty; long-term medical condition/disability or ongoing effects of abuse; living in a rural or isolated region; sole parent responsibilities; refugee status and Indigenous Australians
Successful applicants must remain enrolled in any year of any of the following programs: - Bachelor of Social Science (Occupational Health and Safety) (344) - Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (3046) - Master of Occupational Health and Safety (3043) - Master of Occupational Health and Safety Extension (3052)
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
