The 2024 Albion Park RSL Memorial Club Scholarship provides two (2) undergraduate students with $5,000 to provide support while undertaking their studies at the University of Wollongong.
The Albion Park RSL Memorial Club are committed to assisting students from the City of Shellharbour LGA to achieve their higher education goals. This scholarship recognises students' commitment to their community as well as their academic success.
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must also submit a UAC Equity application in addition to the UOW Scholarship application.

Application Criteria
Successful applicants must remain enrolled in an undergraduate degree at any onshore campus at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Successful applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
Applicants are required to demonstrate community involvement via submission of a written statement.
Applicants must demonstrate financial need. UOW also takes into consideration the following forms of educational disadvantage and applicant attributes when awarding equity scholarships: carer responsibilities; English language difficulty; long-term medical condition/disability or ongoing effects of abuse; regional or remote disadvantage; sole parent responsibilities; refugee status and Indigenous Australians.
Applicants must have completed their HSC and/or currently live in the City of Shellharbour LGA.
