The WIN News Broadcast Scholarship has been established to provide University of Wollongong students with the opportunity to gain valuable and relevant work experience in the field of Journalism, whilst also receiving financial assistance. This scholarship has been made possible by the WIN Network - Australia's largest commercial television network, committed to providing first-class entertainment and news services to over 5 million viewers across Australia. In addition to offering work experience to the successful candidate, as a recipient of this scholarship, you will be on live television as a journalist and receive a studio reel to add to your portfolio. Organising this experience will be done between the student and WIN.

Successful recipients must maintain enrollment in a Bachelor of Journalism or Bachelor of Communications & Media (Journalism)
Successful recipients must remain enrolled as a full-time student at UOW for the duration of the Scholarship.
Applicants must be currently enrolled or have completed JRNL204 Video Journalism Production 1.
Applicants must be enrolled in their second year or above of a Bachelor of Journalism or a Bachelor of Communications & Media (Journalism).
Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Wollongong.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50+
