2025 Infrastructure & Property Division Work Integrated Learning Scholarship
The University of Wollongong’s Infrastructure & Property Division (IPD) is offering a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Scholarship to students from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences. This opportunity will see several WIL students working collaboratively in their distinctive disciplines to assist IPD in updating current asset registers, to assist with future strategic decision making related to existing assets and infrastructure.
The 12-week work placement opportunity will see applicants supervised by accredited engineers, satisfying UOW work placement requirements necessary to graduate. Under this program, applicants will work on one primary project related to digitizing and improving visibility over all UOW existing strategic assets, including building facade, building structure, internal finishings, electrical systems, and HVAC. In addition to this primary project, applicants will also be provided with opportunities to work on smaller projects and improve non-specialist skills, including:
- Project management and planning
- Stakeholder engagement
- Legislative reporting and requirements
- Site inspections and fieldwork
The successful candidates will be given the opportunity to gain valuable and relevant work experience in their field of study, whilst also receiving significant financial assistance
