The IRT Community Scholarship provides financial assistance to an immediate family member* of an IRT Group employee or customer to study at the University of Wollongong.
IRT, a not-for-profit seniors' lifestyle and care provider, undertakes a range of community programs which includes supporting access to higher education. The scholarship will help the successful applicant gain a university qualification in their chosen field.
*Immediate family includes a child, grandchild or great grandchild of an IRT employee, resident or In-Home Care customer.
Note: Successful applicants must be willing to maintain an association with IRT throughout their university journey and beyond. This includes but is not limited to IRT publishing scholarship recipients' image and story in internal and external IRT publications, website and social media.

Application Criteria
Applicants must intend on enrolling full-time in an undergraduate degree at UOW in 2017 at the time of application and throughout the selection process.
Applicants must have achieved an ATAR of 80 or above in the HSC in 2016 or the year prior to the award as the case may be.
Applicants must be an immediate family member of an IRT employee, resident or In-Home Care customer. (Immediate family includes child, grandchild, great grandchild or step-children by marriage).
Applicants must be willing to maintain an association with IRT throughout their university journey and beyond.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
