UOW The Alumni Bookshop/UOW Used Books is operated by a group of dedicated volunteers from The Alumni Campus Chapter. Money raised from sales of books is entirely committed to awards and scholarships for students at UOW.
The purpose of this scholarship is to support students who are experiencing financial and/or social disadvantage, whilst recognising academic excellence and community engagement.

Application Criteria
Applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship;
Applicants must demonstrate financial and/or educational challenges. Educational challenges and attributes can include - but are not limited to - low income family background, living in a rural or isolated region, having a permanent disability, recently migrated from a non-English speaking country, Indigenous Australians, etc.;
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
Applicants must submit an application via UOW Scholarship and UAC Equity to be considered for this scholarship;
Applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65
Applicants must remain enrolled in an undergraduate degree at any onshore campus at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Academic achievement and community involvement as presented in the application package will be strongly considered when awarding this scholarship
