Ivan Bandur Master of Teaching Scholarship

2021 Ivan Bandur Master of Teaching Scholarship

Community

The Ivan Bandur Master of Teaching Scholarship was launched in 2009 in memory of Ivan Bandur, who was a long standing and well respected Apex member. Ivan was highly regarded as a teacher and well known within both the Batemans Bay and Braidwood communities.

This scholarship is available for students in their first or second year of a Master of Teaching at the UOW Batemans Bay Campus, and is designed to increase opportunities for local students studying to become teachers, particularly those who give back to the community. Furthermore, this scholarship will aid in the promotion of teaching as a profession that directly influences the core foundations of our local communities.

There are three (3) scholarships on offer in 2021, and applicants are required to submit a one page document outlining: community involvement, how the scholarship will assist with your career ambitions, and your commitment to teaching.

Selection will be based on application and interview.

Open from 22/Feb/2021 to 25/Apr/2021
