The Ivan Bandur Master of Teaching Scholarship was launched in 2009 in memory of Ivan Bandur, who was a long standing and well respected Apex member. Ivan was highly regarded as a teacher and well known within both the Batemans Bay and Braidwood communities.
This scholarship is available for students in their first year of a Master of Teaching at the UOW Eurobodalla Campus, and is designed to increase opportunities for local students studying to become teachers, particularly those who give back to the community. Furthermore, this scholarship will aid in the promotion of teaching as a profession that directly influences the core foundations of our local communities.
Applicants are required to submit a one page document outlining: community involvement, how the scholarship will assist with your career ambitions, and your commitment to teaching.

Application Criteria
Applicants must remain enrolled full-time in a Master of Teaching at the the University of Wollongong, Eurobodalla Campus;
Applicants must achieve and maintain a minimum credit average (Weighted Average Mark WAM 65+) for the duration of the scholarship;
Applicants must be able to demonstrate residency within the Palerang, Shoalhaven or Eurobodalla Shires;
Must be able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to community service;
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
Applicants must be enrolled in their first (1st) year of a Master of Teaching at the University of Wollongong Eurobodalla Campus in 2024
