Dr Rhys Harding graduated with an MBBS in 2012 and is passionate about rural health. Dr Harding spent Phase 3 in Broken Hill and credits this placement as his best clinical and community experience during medical school.
The Rhys Harding Broken Hill Bush Scholarship will support medical students to pursue rural clinical experiences, while also recognising the effort of students who give back to the community.
The recipient will undertake a phase 4 Elective or Selective Placement in Broken Hill and demonstrate an interest in practicing rural medicine.

Applicants must be undertaking their Phase 4 placement in the Broken Hill region;
Applicants must disclose if they are currently receiving any other type of scholarship;
