The Community Engagement Scholarship - Students of Law aims to support engagement, involvement and ongoing participation in the UOW and wider communities.
Awarded by a group of current students, this scholarship promotes the successful integration of study and community activities.
It assists students enrolled in second year or higher of an LLB in continuing their contribution to the UOW and wider community by rewarding their outstanding involvement demonstrated throughout the years of commitment.

Application Criteria
Applicants must be enrolled in second (2nd) year or above of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Wollongong;
Applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student as the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship;
Applicants must have achieved and maintained a Credit Average (Weighted Average Mark 65+). Students with a WAM slightly short of this are still encouraged to apply as discretion may be applied in the selection process;
Applicants must have been involved in outstanding commitment to community involvement throughout their years of tertiary study (and previously). Ongoing participation in the University and wider community will be highly regarded. Voluntary work via the LLB324 and LLB 397 internship programs and their equivalent subjects will not be considered, but ongoing work from these will be considered.
Shortlisted applicants will be expected to participate in an interview for the selection of this scholarship.
