Acorn Lawyers provides a wide range of legal services to its clients that range from public listed companies to small businesses, high net worth individuals, professionals and to every day clients. Acorn Lawyers provides services in the areas of commercial law, IP, property & conveyancing, estate planning, wills and probate, personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, family provisions, migration law, employment law and criminal law with a team of expert lawyers.
The Acorn Lawyers Scholarship (Combined) was established to promote academic excellence and encourage a career in private law practice. This scholarship is designed to reward hard working students with a focus on academic achievement. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in their third (3rd) or fourth (4th) year of a Bachelor of Laws (Combined Degree) at the University of Wollongong, and demonstrate a high achievement in LLB subjects with specific relevance to legal practice including ‘Contracts’ A and B, ‘Property and Trusts’ A and B and ‘Lawyers and Australian Society’.
Applicants are asked to including a brief statement (no more than one page) outlining their interest in and commitment to legal practice upon completion of their study, including the area of practice they are interested in pursuing.

Application Criteria
Applicants must remain enrolled in an undergraduate degree at any onshore campus at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship;
Applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship;
Applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75;
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder
Applicants must have an interest in/commitment to legal practice demonstrated by written statement
Successful applicants must remain enrolled in an a Bachelor of Laws (Combined Degree) at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship;
