Are you a second year Mining Engineering or first year student considering Mining Engineering in second year? If so, then you have the opportunity to apply for the Glencore Corporate Scholarship.
This scholarship will be offered for the duration of the recipient's degree, up to four (4) years, along with an offer of a paid work placement opportunity during the summer session of each year.
The employment arrangement will be arranged between the sponsor and the student throughout their degree. Successful applicants who complete their scholarship with Glencore are considered for the Graduate Program and stand to obtain ongoing professional opportunities.

Application Criteria
Applicants must be enrolled full-time in their first (1st) or second (2nd) year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining);
Applicants must remain enrolled full-time at the University of Wollongong for the duration of the scholarship;
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder.
Applicants must maintain a Weighted Average Mark of 65+
Vacation work may be offered to the successful scholarship recipient. This is a work placement arrangement between the sponsor Glencore and the student. Successful applicants who complete their scholarship with Glencore are considered for Glencore's Graduate Program and may be eligible to obtain on-going professional opportunities
Successful applicants must maintain enrolment in a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining).
