The intention of the Australian Indigenous Women's Scholarship is to support Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women studying in the Faculties of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH) or Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS).
The scholarship is funded by Jean Clarke, a Fellow of the University of Wollongong. She has had a life-long passion for access and equity and the importance of education for women, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
In the event of exceptional applicants, the selection panel reserves the right to split the funding between multiple recipients.
Selection will be based on shortlisting and interview

Application Criteria
Applicant must maintain enrolment in any undergraduate or honours degree in the Faculty of Science, Medicine & Health or Engineering & Information Sciences.
Applicant must maintain minimum 50+ WAM.
Confirmation of Aboriginality will be confirmed before any offer of scholarship.
