Huon Contractors Pty Ltd, a medium-sized civil engineering company based in Canberra is seeking to offer a 2nd year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) student a 12-week Work Integrated Learning Scholarship over 2 years valued at up to $32,000. The work placement will take place over summer break with the student to be based in Canberra during the work period. The successful applicant will receive payments totaling $7,000 during Autumn session, and $9,000 during Spring session. These payments will be made in separate instalments over the duration of the scholarship.

Application Criteria
Successful applicants must remain enrolled in an eligible undergraduate degree at any onshore campus at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship.
Must be enrolled in their second (2nd) year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) in 2024
Successful applicants must remain enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Wollongong for the duration of this scholarship
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65
Applicants must be available for twelve (12) weeks of work experience in Canberra during the academic session or at the end of each year.
Applicants must be willing to complete their work experience in Canberra.
Applicants must understand that preference will be given to a student from the ACT.
